Is used for configuration of the parameters for connection to the database,
management of log files, of the number of messages on the screen and for
the configuration of parameters to delete the processed e-mails from
the server.
Messages on Screen - maximum number of messages
that can be shown in the RMS messages window.
The group of Database Connection parameters manages
the parameters of access to the Resume Manager database.
Server: Specify the name for the database server where the Resume Manager
database has been established.
Database: Specify the name of the Resume Manager database (default setting - 'RemDB').
Login: Specify the login name you want to use when connecting to
the server using SQL Server Authentication.
Password: Specify the password you want to use when connecting to the server using SQL Server Authentication.
Note: The login should have rights sufficient for the RMS to work with
the Resume Manager database.
Connection timeout - maximum (in seconds) expectation time for connection with the database
(default setting - 30 sec).
Group of parameters Mail Session settings.
Check mail every - sets a time interval (in minutes) for the activation of
RMS e-mail sessions for all active projects
(default setting - 30).
Delete Project E-mail - In case of installation of this given option
the accepted project mail is deleted form the e-mail
server after it has been successfully stored in the database.
Note: In case the project e-mail does not contain a resume and contains
attachments the choice of this given option will result in the loss of
these attachments. Therefore do not use the address for project e-mails
for the reception of e-mail with attachments that do not contain
resumes.
Delete Non-Project e-mails - If this option is chosen, then the Non-Project e-mail
messages will be deleted (if the address of the addressee differs
from addresses specified for the project).
Note. The choice of this option can result in the loss of Non-Project e-mails if
the option Write Non-Project e-mails in Inbox is not established.
Delete Corrupted E-mail - The installation of this option will mean that all e-mail
containing attachments that cannot be read by the RMS
will be deleted (owing to distortion of the e-mail or to unknown coding).
Write Non-Project e-mails in Inbox - If this option is chosen e-mail with addresses that differ from addresses specified for the project
will be moved to the Inbox.
Note. Only the text of the e-mail is kept.
Log File group of parameters.
Write Log to file:
When this option is established, all messages received
from RMS will be moved to the log file.
Clean old Log files: This option permits automatic cleaning
of old log files.
How long to store old Log files: This option allows to establish a time interval for
the storage of Log files.
The button Clean old Log files - allows to manually clean old log files.
