Rules and priorities the processing of e-mails

The incoming e-mails can be filtered with the help of the Incoming Mail Filter. This filter enables to exclude the e-mail from being processed (or to delete it). The filtration can be carried out by using a key word (phrase) or the address of the sender. After passing through the Incoming Mail Filter, the letter is filtered by the Inbox Filter. The Inbox Filter enables to exclude the letter from the parsing procedure, even if it contains a resume. In this case the letter will be stored in the Inbox table. The criterion of filtration is a key word (phrase) in the text of the letter or the text of the attachment. The e-mail address of the addressee in the letter is then analyzed. If it coincides with the specified addresses for the given project, the letter is considered appropriate and is directed for processing to the parsing block. Otherwise, the letter is kept in the Inbox table (if the option Write Non-Project e-mails in Inbox has been established).
After successful storage in the database, the message is deleted from the e-mail server (if the options Delete Project E-mail and Delete Non-Project e-mails have been established). For adjustment of filters see: Configuration of the Resume Manager Server
After passing through the Incoming Mail Filter and the Inbox Filter the e-mail message is processed by parsing. If the resume is found in the text of the letter or one of the attachments, the results of the parsing of the text of the resume are stored in the database.
Note. Only attachments with extensions *.doc, *.txt, *.rtf are processed. During processing the Module of the converter, that changes the attachments to a textual format from the formats Rich text or Microsoft Word is activated.
